Our foundation level ensures learners have a thorough understanding of pronunciation, structures, gender and basic grammar with lots of speaking and listening opportunities in class. Beginner 1, the foundation level ensures learners have a thorough understanding of pronunciation, structures, gender and basic grammar with lots of speaking and listening opportunities in class. Beginner 1b-c groups are ideal if you have been putting in the hours with Duo Lingo or podcasts and want to firm up your foundations, get speaking and progress with the language. This term as well as revising previous topics get ready to shop in Spanish! Module 1c helps you build confidence in real-life situations like asking for prices, talking about preferences, and describing everyday items. You’ll learn to use demonstratives, key question words, and essential verbs like tener que, ir, and preferir. With practical vocabulary around numbers, colours, clothing, and accessories, you’ll soon be able to identify, request, and talk about what you need with ease.
