April 2021 COVID update

All groups will begin the summer term online

We plan to return some groups to the classrooms from May (see timetable)

  • Our classes are for small groups of students with fully trained native speaking teachers and all groups have an exclusive area of the Learning Forum to access homework and additional resources (+ meeting links & class recordings for online groups)

  • In person classes for 3-4 students are 1hr , for 5-8 students are 1hr30min 

  • Online classes for 3+ students are 1hr30min and are recorded when students are absent  

  • Classrooms lessons take place either at Bath Academy or New Oriel Hall

  • New beginner courses start every year

  • We welcome new joiners at our established groups at various levels through to intermediate, please contact us to arrange a trial (although the teacher may request you have some additional hours private tuition)

  • We also run a beginner course for students that attend Norland College in Bath on Tuesday evenings

  • Additional preparation packages for Cervantes DELE A1 & A2

  • We follow the CEFR levels from A1 beginner to B1 intermediate.  See below for links to our course syllabus documents. 

  • We use the Aula Internacional text books from Difusion to support our courses and for new A1 & A2 courses from September 2020 we will use the updated Aula Plus Series.  

  • Our website learning forum is the go-to place for additional learning resources and discussions.  There are open categories and each group has an exclusive area for sharing more specific resources

  • We run special enrichment lessons/events every term, see the events page for up to date information

  • Students can opt in to prepare for and sit their Cervantes Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language through individual and small group packages

  • The Cervantes DELE B1 demonstrates sufficient proficiency in the Spanish language for those applying for university courses in Spanish speaking countries

Levels A1 - C2

  • We recommend complete beginners join us at the start of a new course however if you have missed the start date, do fill in the contact form and if there are spaces, we we can arrange for some one-to-one catch up lessons and slot you in. 

  • If you have learnt Spanish before, we should have a group to suit you.  Either fill in the contact form and we will be in touch to recommend a group and book you in for a trial. 

  • Alternatively peruse our course syllabus' via the documents linked below and book a trial online.   

  • We run paid trials all year and free trials for new students in January and September.
