Todo sobre Katherine

"I had the chance to go and live with a Spanish friend Estefania and her family in Malaga, I jumped at it”. Katherine spent four years living and working in southern Spain around the cities of Málaga, Granada and Córdoba where she acquired the language naturally.

Katherine then took the plunge and studied for the highly regarded “Leonardo Da Vinci Programme” as well as completing a  language study course at the Giralda Centre in Seville where she was awarded an exceptional Cervantes C1 result for Spanish.  Her studies and work across Spain which included months working in the offices of a local Spanish TV production company, fully immersed her into the Spanish culture and way of life.

Katherine manages all Todo el Mundo classes and the team as well as teaches children aged 0-12 using the structured courses from La Jolie Ronde.  You can see her in action on our Youtube channel! She won La Jolie Ronde Licensee of the year South West 2013.  Katherine has an enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid training and Level 2 Safeguarding.

"Bonjour, Hola My name is Laure and I am from Normandy in France.  I studied foreign languages in France, England and Spain and I have an Open University Degree.  I am an experienced French native speaker. I have taught French in the UK, in various Adult Education Centres, in a Language school (covering all levels from beginners to advanced/conversation).  I have also taught French for companies such as the Automobile Association (AA) and Kimberley-Clark as well as a children's French club (I have an enhanced DBS check and Level 1 Safeguarding Adults and Children training).

My passion is languages and I can speak Spanish (I lived and studied in Spain), Italian (I have an A’ Level in Italian) and I am currently learning Russian.  I really enjoy teaching and passing on my knowledge about French language and culture.  I also believe that, because I am used to learning foreign languages, I understand the difficulties that students meet when they learn a language.

I can offer one-to-one à la carte lessons to match your specific linguistic goals on Skype or in central Bath cafes (one-to-one/small groups).  I can help with your child's French examination (GCSE and A' Level).

À bientôt"  laure@todoelmundo.co.uk
