Increase your fluency in a small, friendly group with native-speaking teachers and plenty of speaking, listening and structured debate. Lessons are conversation-led and focused on helping you use Spanish confidently in real situations. Ideal for learners who have completed courses up to CEFR B1-2 or hold a strong recent A-level, who can follow spoken Spanish at a moderate-fast pace, understand most longer factual or literary texts, and express themselves with reasonable fluency and spontaneity in both speech and writing and are ready for more complex grammar and nuanced discussion. In module Advanced Level 1.2c you will explore themes related to work, business culture and personal development through authentic resources such as interviews, workplace case studies, written opinion pieces, audio testimonies and real-life biographies. You’ll practise discussing jobs and company life, talking about events that didn’t happen in the past, expressing reproaches, and describing skills and abilities. Vocabulary areas include the world of work, education contexts, life stories and career paths, along with expressive verbs such as arrepentirse, lamentarse, dejar and pasar. Grammar work includes the pluperfect subjunctive. Our Advanced Level 1 course covers the core CEFR B2 content and is divided into six modules, each taking 2–3 terms depending on the group. Vocabulary develops through themes such as emotions, personality, work-life topics and contemporary social issues. With a mix of listening, structured practice and free conversation, students strengthen their foundations and build the skills needed for confident real-world communication at an advanced level. Here you are booking a trial class, once you find the group at the right level enrolment is by the term (3 per year) at £21 per class or for the remainder of the academic year instalment plan at £19 per class. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email and a 24hr reminder email with important links for venue & safety instructions, term dates for the year as well as course books & fees info.
