Service Description

Get even closer to fluency in Spanish in a small, friendly, sociable group with native-speaking teachers for plenty of conversation and listening practise in class. We welcome new joiners with an appropriate level of Spanish. For our advanced level you should understand Spanish when spoken at a moderate pace, understand the majority of long factual and literary texts, be able to express yourself fairly fluently and relatively spontaneously (verbally and in writing) using a variety of tenses, tones and structures. Ideally you will have completed previous courses to the equivalent of CEFR B2 level or have a recent high pass at A-level in Spanish. We break this level down into 6 modules each taking up to two terms to complete as groups at this higher level progress very much at their own pace. Module 1.2c will include a recap of key Advanced 1.2 content so far, before moving on to explore how to talk about work and the world of business, express regrets about the past, and describe skills and abilities. You'll also reflect on life events and turning points through biographies, while expanding vocabulary related to education and personal experiences. Key verbs such as arrepentirse, lamentarse, dejar and pasar will help you express nuance and emotion with more confidence.
