Student information

These days our text books do not come with CDs but with access to the course audios via the publisher's online platform. By creating your free account you will be able to access the course audio and a little more. With a hybrid Once all students have this set up we hope to be able to assign tasks through this platform for homework.

Type of content accessible through your campus difusión account

• Recursos Gratuitos (free resources): These resources are added to your account by introducing the book ISBN.  Including audio files, videos, transcriptions, mapped texts, glossaries, alternative digital exercises, capsulas foneticas and autocorrecting end of unit exams.

• Manual digital (digital manual): paid for content that can be accessed introducing either the unique code included in a hybrid version of the printed book or the code provided when buying a digital version through the campus difusión shop. These resources include the book online, all the Recursos gratuitos,  the ability to do the book activities and más ejercicios online, extra autocorrect practice exercises and some extra resources. There are often limits to the duration of access to the extra online content.

The free version disappears from the panel after a month but it is possible to add it again by adding the ISBN code again to access the course content.

Each group area of El Forum has a more comprehensive post with the ISBN numbers, answers to the más ejercicios, Spanish/English glossary, transcripts for all audios and videos and a link to listen to the course MP3s via our Google Drive without having to log on to the publisher's site.

How to create a campus difusión account

You can create an account in:

https://campus-difusion.avallainmagnet.com/

By default the language is Spanish (ES) but can be changed to English (EN) on the top right corner or in your profile once you have registered.

Click on the Registrarse (Register)  tab and follow the steps to create the account: enter your name, email address, password and select that you are a student. You will be asked to verify your email then you will have access.

How to add content to your campus difusión account

In the home page of your account click “Add Code” (“añadir código”) and enter the relevant code:

• the ISBN that can be found at the back of the book

• or the unique code from the hybrid paper book that can be found in the inside of the cover

• or the code received when buying the digital version of the book

Guide to Recursos Gratuitos

This is free content available through the ISBN code. The free version disappears from the panel after a month but it is possible to add it again by adding the ISBN code again up until the 12 month expiry date. After this to continue to be able to access the content for free you will need to set up a new account with a different email address and add the ISBN code.

Once the ISBN code has been added, the contents tab will show the title and an image of the course book. The Aula Internacional Plus manuals are organised in units each covering a topic and the online resources are organised in the same way. Clicking on each unit will show that unit resources, the examle below is the free resoureces for a student account.

A description of some of the resources:

• Pistas audio: Lists the unit audios indicating to which activity they relate to.  The embedded player allows to play the audios, set the speed, adjust the volume and view the transcript. The audios can also be downloaded but audio file might need renaming for clarity.

• Video: Shows the video/s.

• Transcripciones: downloadable pdf files of the audio and video trancripts.

• Examen autocorregible: Around 10 pages of exercises to self evaluate your knowledge for this unit.   

• Más ejercicios: Downloadable pdf document with the answers to the más ejercicios and transcripts (Note: This is only available to accounts created as teacher, not to student accounts.)

• Cápsula de fonética: small video about a phonetic aspect of Spanish. For example “la letra r” o “la entonación de las preguntas”

• Glosarios: downloadable pdf glossaries in different languages

Other available resources:

• Fichas proyectables: These are slides that are often projected in class.

• Fichas de trabajo: These are activities that are sometimes done in class, often they are group or pair activities.

• Alternativas digitales: These are extra activities complementing the unit. They usually require to log in into third party websites.

Guide to Manual Digital (paid content)

This is the content available when buying either a hybrid version of the book (which has a yellow label at the front) or a digital version of the book.

Clicking in the book image will list the available resources.

• Manual hojeable – This is the book online

• Más recursos -  the resources as described above in “Recursos gratuitos”  (audios, videos, transcripts, glossaries, etc)

• Manual web: unidades del libro del alumno -  It is organised by units, and has a page for each  activity which can be completed online. Some activities can be self evaluated. More open ended activities can be written in an embedded editor and saved.

• Manual web: Más ejercicios - It is organised by units, and has a page for each exercise from más ejercicios section of the book and can be completed online. Most exercises can be self evaluated.

• Itinerarios digitales: Organised by book units, it offers extra activities

Ejercicios Interactivos [A1 – C1] (paid content)

This section offers autocorrect interactive exercises, organised by level and is accessible from your dashboard. Within each level there is 4 categories to choose from: communication, grammar, vocabulary and sounds & letters

How to use the mobile version of the app (free to download)

Your campus difusión account is accessible on your mobile device through the “Magnet Learning” app.

1. Download the “Magnet Learning” app from the Play Store or App Store

2. The app and campus difusión account need to be synchronized. To do that, open your account profile in your computer and click on the QR code symbol

3. Open the Magnet Learning app in your mobile device. Click the button Scan QR code and scan the QR code shown in your computer. Then log in to your Campus Difusión account in your mobile device by entering your email and password.
