Everything you need before attending class
Before your first class:

Read our Class Culture.

Come ready for class - Course book (not required for trial classes), notebook, pen, glasses if needed, drink; let us know about relevant access/health requirements.​​

At your first class - Familiarise yourself with the emergency exits. Your tutor will show you the emergency meeting point and cover the key points of our Safety Info & Class culture.

You'll then be asked to initial the class register confirming that you've received this information and agree to follow our Class Culture.
Before attending class, please remember these key points:

Let us know if you cannot attend by email, text or WhatsApp.

Please do not attend if you are unwell.

Tell us about any access or medical needs that may affect your learning or be important in an emergency.

Keep bags, coats and belongings clear of walkways and use venue facilities and equipment safely.

Follow your tutor's instructions in an emergency and familiarise yourself with the fire exits when you first attend.

Classes may move online during extreme weather or Met Office weather warnings where conditions make travelling to or using the venue unsuitable. We will notify you by email.

Tell us if you have any safety or wellbeing concerns.

¡Seguros! Follow your tutor's safety instructions, keep the classroom free of hazards and tell us if something makes you or somebody else feel unsafe or uncomfortable.​

Evening classes venue information
Bath Academy

The front door at Bath Academy is always locked and does not open when pushed. Please ring the buzzer. ​

Tutors will be in the hallway to answer the buzzer between 6.25-6.30pm.

If you arrive late please follow the instructions on our door sign.​

On arrival please familiarise yourself with the venue fire exits and evacuation procedure.​​

There is no parking at Bath Academy. Charlotte Street car park is the closest car park where you are guaranteed to find a space. Students also recommend the metered areas in Victoria Park for best value and a lovely walk to class!
Morning classes venue info
New Oriel Hall

The main doors to the hall should be open, come in, turn right and go up the stairs to the meeting rooms for class. ​

The tutor will welcome students in to the classroom from 5 minutes before the lesson start time

If arriving early, you are welcome to wait in the social area or library on the ground floor until it is time for your class. ​

If you are late, please let yourself in to the classroom and join the lesson​.

There is a small car park in front of New Oriel Hall (2hrs) and some unrestricted on-street parking nearby. It is easy to reach Larkhall by bus with direct services from Bath City Centre and a 2-minute to walk to stops on London Road for Batheaston/Box/Corsham/Melksham/Chippenham services.

Vamos al bar and other social events
We love to bring students from different groups together at our social events. There is always plenty of conversation in Spanish (and English)! Vamos al bar or we meet for Taco Tuesday at least once a term. Each Autumn we enjoy the Spanish language films in the FilmBath festival and every summer we gather at Bath's very own beach bar in Victoria Park.
Enrolment terms
Our adult group Spanish classes are booked by term and places can be secured online. Mid-term joiners are welcome where spaces are available and only pay for the remaining weeks of term.

New to Todo el Mundo? We recommend taking the level test or arranging a trial before booking a full course so we can help you find the most suitable group.
​
Classes run during the daytime and evening in Bath. Class fees depend on the venue and level of your class.​
Students joining or re-enrolling at the start of a new term can save over 10% on class fees with our multi-term direct debit plans.

Course books
Our classes teach Castilian Spanish using high-quality course books used by top schools worldwide. These books are an essential part of your learning, providing homework exercises, grammar tables and useful reference material.

Each tab shows the ISBN number, available editions, and a picture of the front cover to help you identify the right book.

All course books include free access to digital resources from the publisher, such as audio files, videos, transcripts, mapped texts, glossaries, digital exercises, pronunciation capsules and autocorrecting end-of-unit exams. Click here for setup instructions.

Some books have special hybrid editions with 12-month access to all digital content, and there are also online-only access options for 6–12 months. Contact us if you’d like guidance on these choices.

We do not supply course books or recommend specific retailers. Please search by ISBN and consider second-hand options such as eBay or Vinted.​
Groups: Online areas for homework y más
Students enrolled in our group classes for adults benefit from access to an exclusive interactive area on our online platform called 'Groups'. Here you will find weekly lesson summaries and your homework for your group as well as links to other learning resources.
All members of our website (you do not have to be a student) also benefit from access and interacting in our open Groups about films & podcasts for learning Spanish y más.
