Join the best spanish classes in Bath! If you have been learning independently (eg using Duo Lingo) or it was a long time ago that you learnt Spanish then our new and continuing A1 groups will strengthen foundations for future learning and get you speaking Spanish! Complete beginners are welcome to join this group however we will suggest some private classes to ensure you have the foundations to progress. A1 is the beginner level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Our classes are a mix of conversation, listening, reading and writing. Teachers are nearly all native speaking and we predominantly teach Castilian spanish, however through the diversity of team’s heritage and our course materials we embrace latin spanish too! Grupo Costa Rica with Julie (from Costa Rica) have completed the first term of our course (units 0-2) and will continue with Units 3, 4 and possibly 5 from April 2024. World geography and describing locations Points of the compass, understanding and giving directions Talking about the weather Two verbs for ‘to be’: ser & estar Uses of “hay” Climate, weather and the seasons Going shopping at the market Numbers over 100, colours, clothing Question words “What “or “which” uses in Spanish ¿qué o cuál? Evening classes at Bath Academy are £18 per class and enrolment is by the term only. Should you miss class, there are several online catch-up classes throughout the term included in your fees. Homework and extra learning resources are accessible on demand via our website or app. Course book are not included in your fees.
