Service Description

From research and experience we've found that children starting their language learning at 8 or 9 are more successful than children waiting until secondary school before they start learning a language. Younger children are very receptive to new sounds, less inhibited and quickly become confident. Our KS2 spanish club is great continuation for students have learnt spanish before but also a great starting point for those new to learning spanish with the emphasis on having fun and gaining confidence with speaking another language. The La Jolie Ronde programmes we use are carefully structured and enables children to use their knowledge of simple Spanish language creatively, confidently and with imagination. Games, short role plays, reading, listening and writing activities are all suited to each age group. In addition to our topical vocabulary we continuously practise greetings, introducing ourselves, asking how we are feeling, counting and the spanish alphabet enabling new students to join us at any time during the course. Coming up this term is vocabulary for parts of the body, sports and hobbies which will include new uses of the verb 'hacer' to make/do and 'jugar' to play before moving on to foods, shopping and eating out. Enrol here and pay your deposit to secure your child's space for terms 5&6 April-July 2024. The balance of fees plus the £20 for books for new joiners will be invoiced at the start of term.
