Advanced 1

At Advanced level 1 classes involve lots of conversations and debates, as listening comprehension from our course materials exposing the student to a variety of accents and themes from the Spanish speaking world.   Grammar and linguistics, as you would expect, are revisited and new, more advanced concepts introduced.

  • Our Advanced Level 1 course comprehensively covers all foundation elements of the CEFR B2 language level.

  • We break this level down into 6 modules each taking up to two terms to complete as groups at this higher level progress very much at their own pace.

  • Use the tabs above to view summaries of what is covered in each part of the course and guidance on which level group to try.

  • While our groups do not work towards official certification, our team can support students to sit the Cervantes DELE exams upon completion of each level.

  • New students should understand Spanish when spoken at a moderate pace, understand the majority of long factual and literary texts, be able to express yourself fairly fluently and relatively spontaneously (verbally and in writing).

To join a B2 group you will need to have solid foundation having covered the majority of learning and gramatical concepts that have been taught in previous levels (refer to Intermediate levels 1 & 2 above).

New students can book a trial class below.  If you not sure which class is right for you - we have a take a level test  or you can contact us for a level consultation.   The teacher will also be able to assess your level at a trial class.
