La primavera comienza en el equinoccio de primavera cuando el sol cruza directamente el ecuador produciendo días y noches de la misma duración y el comienzo de días más largos.
Para mi la primavera comienza cuando aparece la flor de amentos que en inglés es catkin flower.
La flor de amentos es una flor sin pétalos y su peculiaridad es que es de un mismo sexo y se poliniza a través de viento. Estos son algunos de los arboles que produce la flor de amentos. Castaña dulce, Haya, Aliso y Avellanos.

The spring commences at equinox when the sun crosses directly equator producing days and nights of equal length and so begins the longer days.
For me, the spring begins when the catkin flowers appear.
The catkin is a flower without petals and it's peculiarity is that is of the same sex and can self pollinate in the wind. Some of the trees that produce this flower are the Sweet chestnut, Beech, Alder and Hazel.
