Service Description
Join our Advanced 1.1b Spanish course in Bath on Wednesday mornings in Larkkhall. This academic year, the group will explore how to give advice, make suggestions, express wishes, talk about feelings and personality, and discuss imaginary situations in Spanish as we progress through the first half of the B2 level. Students will build confidence using advanced structures such as the conditional, the present and imperfect subjunctive, and phrases for expressing cause, purpose, opinion and uncertainty. This module will help students speak with more nuance and flexibility, so they can explain what they would do, what they recommend, what they hope for and how they feel in a wider range of conversations. This class is for continuing students and may suit learners who have completed A-Level Spanish or equivalent, or who can already follow spoken Spanish at a moderate pace and express themselves with some spontaneity. Booking and payment: A £70 deposit secures your place for the term at £25 per class and is deducted from your term fees. If you have already paid for a trial class, this will also be deducted from your balance. At the start of term, you can choose whether to pay the balance in full, set up a 3-month Direct Debit plan, or reduce your fees to £22 per class with a multi-term Direct Debit plan. Full payment plan information is sent after your first class. Adult courses are booked by term and are not pay-as-you-go. New students joining from week 5 only pay for the remaining classes. Course books are not included. Your fees include access to your group’s online area for lesson summaries and homework, plus at least one extra online class per term. You may also be able to attend another similar-level group to make up a missed class. After booking, you’ll receive emails with venue information, term dates and course book guidance. Courses (group Spanish classes for adults) are booked term by term. A £70 deposit secures your place. The remaining balance is payable by invoice or approved instalment plan. Mid-term joiners pay only for the remaining weeks of that term, where applicable.
